The Computar M0818-APVSW2 is an 8mm F1.8 ViSWIR Hyper APO fixed focal length lens designed for visible and short-wave infrared imaging from 400nm to 1700nm. It supports up to 5MP resolution on 1/1.4-inch format sensors and uses a C-mount interface for machine vision, multispectral imaging and SWIR applications.

Its hyper-apochromatic floating optical design reduces focus shift across wavelengths and working distances, helping maintain focus when switching between visible and SWIR imaging without repeated manual refocusing.
