The Computar M5018-APVSW is a 50mm F1.8 ViSWIR Hyper APO fixed focal length lens designed for broadband visible and SWIR imaging from 400nm to 1700nm. It supports 5MP imaging on 1/1.4-inch format sensors and provides the narrowest field of view in the ViSWIR Hyper APO family for detailed imaging at longer working distances.

Its floating Hyper APO optical design minimizes focus shift across wavelengths and working distances, helping maintain image sharpness when switching between visible and SWIR bands without repeated manual refocusing.
