The Kowa LM1.7QS25 is a precision-engineered 1.7mm fixed focal length lens optimized for 1/2.5” image sensors and supporting resolutions up to 2 megapixels. It delivers outstanding sharpness across the image plane, with 160 lp/mm center and 100 lp/mm margin resolution, making it an excellent choice for compact high-performance vision systems. With 3.2µm pixel compatibility, this S-Mount lens is ideal for integration into modern low-pixel-pitch CMOS cameras used in robotics, surveillance, and automotive imaging.

This lens is compact and durable, featuring a fixed F2.5 aperture, manual focus control, and a short 4.00mm back focus distance. Its optical path is tuned for the visible spectrum (400–800nm) and provides minimal TV distortion at -0.32%, ensuring high geometric fidelity. The mechanical design supports rugged environments with an operating range of -10°C to +50°C, and the housing weighs just 18 grams. Custom modifications, including glued internal optics for shock/vibration resistance or IR-cut filter integration, are available upon request, making it a versatile solution for OEMs and system integrators.
