The Kowa LM50EC-IR is a precision-engineered 50mm fixed focal length lens designed for use with 1.2" format sensors, delivering full optical support for up to 24MP resolution and 2.5µm pixel sensors. IR-corrected for imaging across the visible to near-infrared spectrum (400nm–1000nm), this lens maintains sharp, focused performance under both daylight and low-light/NIR conditions. With C-Mount compatibility and exceptional light transmission, it’s ideal for demanding applications like license plate recognition (LPR), traffic monitoring, machine vision, and aerial mapping.

This lens offers fixed aperture control with five interchangeable aperture plates (F2.4 to F8), supports manual focus from 0.5m to infinity, and offers a high center resolution of 200 lp/mm and 125 lp/mm at the edge. It features ultra-low TV distortion (0.02%) and a 147mm horizontal FOV at minimum working distance. The durable, lightweight aluminum housing (Ø33 x 50.8mm, 70g) operates in temperatures from -10°C to +50°C, making it reliable for integration into industrial, outdoor, and surveillance systems.
