The Kowa LM5NS21 is a compact, high-performance 5mm fixed focal length lens engineered for 1/1.8" (9mm) CMOS sensors up to 2 megapixels, supporting pixel sizes as small as 2.5µm. Designed with precision for embedded and space-constrained imaging systems, it offers excellent optical performance with 200 lp/mm center resolution and 100 lp/mm at the image edges. A fixed F2.1 aperture and manual focus control ensure dependable performance for applications requiring consistent image quality.

Built for durability and lightweight integration, this S-mount (M12 x 0.5) lens measures only Ø21.5 x 29.9mm and weighs just 12g. Its broad focus range from 0.1m to infinity, low TV distortion (-0.51%), and visible wavelength support (400nm–800nm) make it ideal for UAV, drone, robotics, and automotive imaging. Custom options include IR cut filters, glued optics for vibration resistance, and aperture tuning — making the LM5NS21 a flexible, high-precision choice for advanced imaging systems.
