The Kowa LM5NS56 is a high-precision 5mm fixed focal length lens designed for compact embedded systems using 1/1.8" sensors with up to 2MP resolution and 2.5µm pixel pitch. Engineered for imaging applications requiring consistent optical quality, this S-Mount lens offers 200 lp/mm center resolution and 100 lp/mm at the edge, ensuring uniform image sharpness. It delivers minimal distortion at -0.51%, making it ideal for automotive imaging, drone systems, and board-level cameras where accuracy and space-efficiency are critical.

Designed for rugged performance, the LM5NS56 features a fixed f/5.6 aperture and manual focus, with a wide focus range from 0.1m to infinity. The visible spectrum coverage spans 400nm to 800nm, and the compact body (Ø21.5 x 29.9 mm) weighs just 12g. This lens is rated for -10°C to +50°C operating environments.
