The Omron STC‑HD213DV uses a 1/2.8" Sony IMX291 CMOS sensor to produce Full HD 1920 × 1080 images at 60 fps for clear, smooth video in critical monitoring applications. With 0.4 lux minimum illumination at F1.4, extended shutter speeds from 1/33,750 s to 2.12 s, and adjustable gain from 0–45 dB, it maintains detail in low‑light scenes common to security and inspection environments.

DVI 1.0 RGB output (via HDMI connector) allows direct connection to HD monitors and recorders, while UART control, gamma presets, and white balance modes make it easy to dial in image quality for specific sites. Drawing under 3.2 W from a +9 to +15 Vdc supply in a rugged C‑mount housing, the STC‑HD213DV is well‑suited for integration into security consoles, NVR display stations, machine vision, and OEM monitoring systems.

FAQs - STC-HD213DV Camera

What lens mount does the STC-HD213DV use?
The STC‑HD213DV uses a C‑mount interface, giving you compatibility with a wide range of C‑mount lenses to match different fields of view and working distances.

Is the STC-HD213DV good for low-light security monitoring?
Yes. With 0.4 lux minimum scene illumination at F1.4 and the Sony IMX291 sensor, the camera is designed to maintain usable images in dimly lit corridors, rooms, and control areas.

What video output does this camera provide?
The STC‑HD213DV outputs DVI 1.0 RGB video (via HDMI connector) up to 1080p60, so it can connect directly to most HD monitors, switchers, and capture devices used in security systems.

How are camera settings adjusted in an installation?
Camera parameters such as gain, shutter, and gamma are configured over the UART control interface, or with the optional JIG‑HD‑133‑R remote control unit for stand‑alone setups.

Can this camera be used in machine vision as well as security?
Absolutely. The STC‑HD213DV’s progressive scan imaging, adjustable exposure and gain, and rugged C‑mount form factor make it suitable for both security monitoring and industrial inspection or automation tasks.
